Posted on: Sep 20, 2019

The Office of Research Services reminds you that the deadline to submit applications SSHRC Explore and Exchange Grants Fall 2019 competition is in just 10 days!

IMPORTANT: If you received an internal research grant this year (Seed or Impact) you may still be eligible to submit an application for this competition, as these funds do not count towards the $5,000/Yr limit. Further, if you received a SIG award in April, you may still be eligible to submit an application to the other stream (i.e., if you received an Explore grant, you may apply for an Exchange grant, and vice versa).

This funding opportunity is supported by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) through its SSHRC Institutional Grants (SIG) program and is administered by Concordia University of Edmonton.

SSHRC Explore and Exchange Grants are intended to strengthen research excellence in the social sciences and humanities.

Successful applicants in the Explore stream are expected to apply for SSHRC funding under the Insight or Insight Development program in the near future.

SSHRC-SIG Explore and Exchange Grants are sponsored by SSHRC through an institutional grant. CUE receives additional funding from the Tri-Agency via the Research Support Fund (RSF). For further information on the RSF, please visit our website.
