The Senior Women Academic Administrators of Canada (SWAAC) organization was founded in 1987 to provide a forum and a collective voice for women in senior administrative ranks in Canadian universities, colleges and technical institutes.  In 2020, SWAAC is offering awards of $3,500 each to female graduate and undergraduate students studying in the Western Provinces who have demonstrated outstanding leadership in the university or general community while maintaining exemplary academic records.

Concordia University of Edmonton has been invited to submit one nominee for each award to the regional competition.  Female students who would like to participate in Concordia’s competition to be selected as Concordia’s nominee are invited to submit an application to the Financial Aid and Awards Office by the November 29, 2019 deadline.
