*RESOLVED* Internet Outage – 24-APR-2023

Shaw is currently experiencing an unplanned outage in Highlands/Bellevue/Virginia Park areas that is affecting services all internet and VPN services to Magrath, Eberhardt, Wangerin, Alumni House, Faculty Annex, Residence House.

Shaw has provided no ETA on restoration of service as of 7:30AM.

April 24:
Update: 8:10AM – Outage is related to a power outage. Epcor has not provided an ETA on restoration. 
Update: 10:20AM – Power outage has been resolved. Shaw is working to restore service to all locations. 
Update: 1:55PM – Shaw is predicting several hours until resolution
Update: 5:50PM – Shaw is still working to resolve the outage. 

April 25:
Update: 7:00AM – Shaw Services to Eberhardt, Wangerin, Faculty House, Faculty Annex, Residence House, Magrath Campus continues to be offline. Shaw has provided no time estimate on restoration of Service. 
Update: 7:15AM – Internet services to Magrath Campus restored, we are still awaiting resolution of remaining sites. 
Update: 10:20AM – Internet Services to Faculty Annex, Residence House, Alumni House, Wangerin House, and Eberhardt Hall have been restored.

Note: Shaw has not declared the issue resolved yet, and services to any of the above sites could drop out again without notice. This is outside of CUE’s control. 

Update: 2:00PM – Shaw has marked the incident as resolved. All Services should now be operational. If you are still having issues in affected areas, please contact helpdesk
