The office of the Vice-President Academic & Provost is delighted to announce that, effective July 1, Dr. Rossitza Marinova will be our new Dean of Graduate Studies. 

 

Dr. Marinova has been with CUE for many years, serving in successively responsible roles within the Faculty of Science, including as Chair of the Department of Mathematical & Physical Sciences where she was instrumental in bringing our BScIT and MScIT programs to fruition. Rossitza is ready and eager to assume this new leadership position, in an area that has seen significant new growth at our university (most recently with the addition of a first doctoral program) and that has every potential to evolve further during the course of her 5-year term. She is also excited to work closely with graduate students and faculty across campus, as well as help nurture external relationships in Alberta, Canada, and more broadly.
