Sacred Music Festival

This is a special anniversary year for the Sacred Music Festival, so we pause to reflect on the past and the future, and revisit some of the music and themes from previous festivals. It is through these reminiscences that we piece together a Sacred Mosaic in honour of our 15th year. In recognition of this milestone and the journey thus far, Concordia faculty have collaborated on a new hymn, In Every Age, text by Neil Querengesser and music by Joy Berg, to be premiered at the Festival. The audience is invited to join in the musical celebration as well with hymns led by the Rev. Lorne Manweiler at the organ.

Concordia’s choral ensembles—the Concert Choir, the Community Chorus, and Bella Voce Women’s Choir, all conducted by Dr. Joy Berg—will be performing. There will also be a special appearance of Concordia alumni singing under the direction of guest, Dr. John Hooper.
