InfoSec Seminar – February 2024
The Information Systems Security and Assurance Management (ISSAM) Department in Mihalcheon School of Management proudly invites you to the monthly InfoSec Seminar. The seminar series is open to anyone who is interested in security research and technologies, not only to Concordia University of Edmonton (CUE) members.
Our February speaker is Sebastian Fischmeister, PhD PEng. Dr. Fischmeister is a Professor at the University of Waterloo, NSERC/Magna Industrial Research Chair in Automotive Software for Connected and Automated Vehicles, and leads the Real-time Embedded Software Group.
The topic of this month’s talk is “On Physics-based Cybersecurity & Lessons From Commercialization” – Delving into physics-based cybersecurity approaches use physical properties and phenomena in computer systems to develop new security controls.
