As you have heard and probably noticed yourself, many students are struggling right now. If you are concerned about a student for any reason, please consider submitting an Early Alert for them. We will reach out to them and set them up with any services and supports that could help.
If a staff or faculty member is concerned about a student for any reason, they can talk to the student and make a referral. The ABC’s of warning signs that could warrant an Early Alert are:
- Course performance
To submit an Early Alert, look for the link on your Moodle home page or go to Online Services. Alerts are non-disciplinary and confidential, so there are no negative consequences for the student and no one else is informed of the alert.
