CUE faculty and staff experiences University of Szczecin, Poland thanks to Erasmus+

Posted on: May 31, 2019

In May, CUE staff member Lana Kuzyk and faculty member Constance Murphy experienced Polish hospitality through Erasmus+ program at our partner University of Szczecin in Poland. Their individual experiences are listed below.

Lana Kuzyk:  “I was fortunate enough to attend the May 13-17 International Staff Week at one of CUE’s partner universities, Szczecin University in Poland. The Erasmus+ staff mobility project is a very worthwhile activity for all staff members and the opportunity was amazing. Having the opportunity to make contacts from around the world and learn best practices from numerous other universities is invaluable. It has made me a better employee as well as has enhanced my personal growth. There is nothing more valuable then meeting and interacting face to face and making those professional and personal connections. I would highly recommend that anyone who has the chance to participate in a staff mobility program seize the opportunity.”

Constance Murphy: “Thank you to the Institute of Education at Szczecin University, Poland, for the invitation to participate in an Erasmus+ Scholarship Mobility Programme.  The stay was an opportunity to gain insights about pre-service teacher education in an international context.  I received a warm welcome from my hosts, Malgorzata and Anna, who organized meetings with members of the Faculty of Education, seminars with faculty and students, and school visits.  I wish to express my sincere appreciation to CUE’s International Office for having made this opportunity possible”

Concordia University of Edmonton would like to express gratitude to the continued support of our campus community through Erasmus+ grant.
