Posted on: Mar 29, 2022
The Concordia Concert Choir, under the direction of Dr. John Brough, will be presenting their spring concert this Sunday, April 3rd at 2 p.m. at the historic Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Old Strathcona (10037 84th Avenue). The concert will feature a wide variety of music including a wealth of Canadian composers, on themes of Earth, Love and Nature. Featured composers include Eric Whitacre, Laura Hawley, Stephen Chatman, Allan Bevan, Eleanor Daley and many others.

Guest musicians include collaborative pianist Kim Cousineau and violinist Vladimir Ruffino.
Concordia’s Concert Choir is made up of singers not only from our robust academic music program but also from a wide variety of other programs at CUE. Although the choir is small, more the size of a chamber choir at just sixteen singers, they continue to push themselves to perform challenging and engaging performances. This past year, the choir was selected as one of only a handful of international University choirs to participate in a virtual performance of music for promotion of the Beijing Olympic Winter Games, which has been viewed by millions of people all across the world.
Please join us on Sunday at 2 p.m. for this exciting end of term concert, either in person (Pay What You Can admission) or online on Facebook.
