Concordia Study Abroad Program can take you very far – An example from a CUE student

Posted on: May 9, 2019

CUE alumna Allison Crawford (convocation in May 2019, graduated in January 2019) was accepted into the MSc in Infection Biology with a concentration in Parasitology at the University of Glasgow (currently ranked 93 in the world according to 2019 World University Ranking).

Allison was accepted not only due to her excellent study results at CUE but also thanks to her very active study abroad history. Allison spent a semester abroad at partner University of Iceland in Winter 2017 and 3 weeks with the Study in Brazil program in 2018. Due mostly to the contacts she established in Brazil, Allison will conduct a 9 week long internship in the research labs of our partner UNIVATES in southern Brazil until August before she moves to Glasgow for 18 months.

This promotion is an amazing example of how studying abroad can enrich your life on a personal but also professional level! Congratulations, Allison, and best success!
