CCS Welcomes Teacher Visiting from China

The Centre for Chinese Studies is pleased to welcome Ms. Lili Wei, a Chinese Visiting Teacher from Southwest Petroleum University in Chengdu, Sichuan province, China. Lili will be teaching non-credit Chinese courses and organizing Chinese culture events at Concordia University of Edmonton. Lili holds a Bachelor degree in English and a Master’s degree in Education. She has 18 years of teaching experience in China. Her area of research interest is Second Language Acquisition, Intercultural Communication and Language Teaching.

In her spare time, Lili enjoys reading, jogging, and traveling. She looks forward to her teaching and learning experience at Concordia University of Edmonton, as well as her new adventure in Canada.

CUE thanks CLEC (Centre for Language Education and Cooperation) for the support in bringing the Chinese visiting teacher to CUE. Ms. Lili WEI will work at CCS as a full-time staff and instructor from January 2022 to August 2023.  Non-credit Chinese language courses (HSK Level 1,2,3,4 for CUE staff, faculty, students and public will be taught by Lili, starting from Monday January 10, 2022.
