Dr. Xinxin Fang, our International Student Officer and Director of the Centre for Chinese Studies (CCS) participated at a conference hosted by CLTRA (Chinese Language Teaching and Research Association) and University of Calgary this weekend, in Calgary. "Fantastic outcome from the Workshop of Chinese Language Placement in Canadian Universities on Nov. 26-27. Directors, professors and instructors of Chinese program from University of Victoria, University of British Columbia, University of Calgary, University of Alberta, Mount Royal University, Concordia University of Edmonton, McGill University, University of Western Ontario, University of Toronto Mississauga, and Ji'nan University from China, gathered together, shared best practices on language placement test. Conference references will follow up", Dr. Fang writes.
