Thunder Golf Team Finish Season at ACAC Championships

On September 28th and 29th, the Thunder Golf team travelled south to compete in the ACAC Championships hosted by Olds College. Overall, it was a great experience for the Thunder, especially the men's team as they were all first year golfers. Although Concordia did not have the spectacular results they were hoping for, they were certainly respectable. On the women's side, third year veteran Carly Curran finished in 11th place shooting a 101 and a 99. Patrick Turville was the low net on the men's team, shooting an 87 and an 82 over the two day event.
Concordia Coach Kevin MacAlpine is hoping many of the new faces on the guy's side will be back next year. Kevin had high praise for departing veteran Carly Curran, who will graduate this year. "She has done a great job on the golf team the past 3 years and hopefully she continues to improve her game. Well done Thunder!"
