CUE Concert Choir lends their voices for World University Games music video

The Concordia Concert Choir once again lends their harmonious voices to send their heartfelt best wishes to athletes participating in the Chengdu 2021 FISU World University Games, which will take place in the summer of 2023 (July 28 to August 8). Previously, the Concert Choir was invited to participate in the “2022 Sing for Winter Olympics” Music TV project to represent Canada.

Now joined by over 200 youths from 23 countries and regions, CUE’s Concert Choir sings “Together Forever,” the promotional theme song for the 2021 Summer World University Games. Despite just being released on May 4, 2023, Concordia’s contribution to the music video was filmed last spring.

Organized by Dr. Xinxin Fang, Director of the Office of Extension and Culture & Centre for Chinese Studies, and led by Dr. John Brough, Assistant Professor and Director of Choral Activities, CUE’s music video features the student choristers, some now alumni, in recognizable locations around campus like Magrath and Ralph King Athletic Centre. Even the Concordia Thunder student-athletes make a special guest appearance in the video.
