Entry to Campus: October 4, 2021

Posted on: Sep 28, 2021

We’re looking forward to welcoming you back to campus on Monday, October 4. There will be new systems in place, so please arrive early for classes to allow for extra time in case of delays to enter campus.

CUE has been testing these new systems to ensure that when you come to campus, you can enter and be processed as quickly and easily as possible.

  • Three entrances will be open to enter campus: the Hole Academic Centre, Tegler, and Ralph King Athletic Centre. All others will be locked.
  • We are implementing a fast lane for staff and students to swipe their ID cards.
  • There will also be a separate lane for those who need to show rapid test results, or for those who cannot swipe in for other reasons.

It is strongly advised that you also bring a physical proof of vaccination with you to show security in case there are any problems with swiping your ID card. We believe our system will work well, but as with all new systems, they may be some delays or glitches.

Please also remember that wearing a non-medical face mask is mandatory in all indoor public areas on campus, including hallways, washrooms, gathering spaces such as Tegler, and the library.

Also, if you experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, please do not come to campus. You should isolate in accordance with CMOH Order 39-2021 and see testing.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back safely!
