URSCA 2021 – List of Awards

On May 3rd and 4th, Concordia University of Edmonton (CUE) hosted the 2021 Undergraduate Research in Science Conference of Alberta.
We were quite pleased to see how the resilience of our students is sending them on the right path for the next stage in their careers. CUE was proud to welcome so many talented students sharing their research achievements, as well as the faculty members and other research supervisors who mentor them on a daily basis.
First, Second and Third Place awards were given in each session based on the scores provided by the judges. Each presentation was evaluated by two judges, using the usual URSCA rubric. First, second and third places were awarded in each session, as well as overall for the competition. Winners will receive a certificate of award, and a hoodie or T-shirt with the logo for the event, which we will ship to their home institutions for distribution.
