Wayfinders: an exhibit of work by George Littlechild

Posted on: Oct 21, 2015

During the month of October the library gallery at Concordia is hosting "Wayfinders", an exhibit of work by George Littlechild, Amy Malbeuf, and Paul Smith. As expressed by curator Aaron Paquette, the exhibition Wayfinders is a combination of three unique talents exploring new directions and reflecting the complex world we live in today. Combining traditional First Nations artistic skills, practices and symbology with contemporary art concerns, the artists in this exhibition examine the past, personal life and experiences, and investigate contemporary issues and realities. This exhibit comes to Concordia through the Alberta Foundation for the Arts Travelling Exhibition Program.  The brochure for the exhibit may be viewed here: Wayfinders Brochure.
