Toonies for Turkeys & Tofu – we need your help!

With less than a week to go before the Thanksgiving weekend, we are asking for your help!
If you are able to, we are seeking monetary donations to ensure that students who may not have the means to afford a Thanksgiving dinner can still enjoy the holiday.
There is a “Toonies for Turkeys & Tofu” jar located in HA213 if you’d like to stop by and toss in a toonie or you can donate online by clicking here
If you prefer, donations of food are gratefully accepted as well! You can find drop off bins located in the Student Success Centre and The Bolt Offices.
We are specifically looking for:
- Canned veggies
- Mashed potatoes (dry)
- Gravy (packaged or canned)
- Stuffing mix
- Individual packages of hot chocolate
- Marshmallows (you can’t have hot chocolate without marshmallows!)

Students – if you would normally be eligible for a food hamper, please apply by going to CUEcupboard.com and filling out an application. Please indicate ‘Thanksgiving’ in your email. Applications will be accepted until Thursday, October 6 @ 4:00 pm.
