Thunder Hockey Earn Split on Northern Road Trip

Posted on: Nov 4, 2013

The Concordia Thunder hockey team managed just a split this past weekend versus a very determined Keyano Husky team. In what he described as a 'somewhat disappointing split', Head Coach Dan Peacocke stated, "after a performance on Friday night that was far below the team's normal standard (resulting in a 4 to 2 loss), the team came storming back on Saturday afternoon and earned a 4 – 2 victory.  As the team has shown several times already this season, patience and relentless pressure were the keys to success, as the Thunder pulled away in the last half of the third period to secure the win."
The Thunder's next action will be this coming Friday when they travel down to Calgary to face the SAIT Trojans before coming back to Glengarry Arena on Saturday for the return engagement.  The puck drops at 8:15 PM.
