Thunder Hockey Earn a Split with Briercrest

As Thunder Head Coach Dan Peacocke put it, the Thunder Hockey team "let one slip away this past weekend" as they dropped Saturday's game 3-2 to the Briercrest Clippers. Interestingly, Coach Peacocke suggested that he thought the team actually played poorly on the Friday night game that they won 7-2. "On Saturday we ran into a hot goaltender, and although we had 50 shots on goal and many great scoring opportunities, we were only able to squeeze 2 by their stingy keeper," explained Peacocke.
The Thunder will now head into a home-and-home with the Augustana Vikings with the home game going on Saturday, November 23rd at 8:15 PM.
