Student Housing Team Delegation Represents CUE at Annual LEAD Conference

This past weekend, three members of CUE’s Student Housing team represented CUE at the annual Lead, Educate, Act, Dare (LEAD) conference hosted by the Residence Life Professional Association!
Parul Kanwar (Residence Life & Services Coordinator) was invited to sit on a panel of professional staff titled “Do I have what it takes?” exploring the future of post-secondary and residence life. Parul was also elected to the RLPA board of directors as Communications Coordinator, this is an exciting accomplishment and we know that they will bring substantial value to the role and back to CUE because of this appointment!
Community Leader Pamela Gerardo and Programming Assistant Kira Sviderskaia attended peer-facilitated sessions and are looking forward to bringing back their learning about excellence in programming, EDI initiatives in residence, and leadership.
This group did an excellent job representing CUE as we grow our presence and involvement in the wider world of student housing and residence life!
