An annual $1,000 award to a member of a designated Concordia University of Edmonton Thunder team. Recipients must be enrolled in a university degree program, present a minimum GPA of 2.3, and be registered in a minimum 60% of a full course load for both the fall and winter terms in the current academic year. Eligible students will be nominated by team coaches based on their outstanding sportsmanship and commitment to the team as demonstrated by virtues such as fairness, civility, integrity, courage and persistence. A selection committee will make the final determination and the award is presented at the annual Athletics banquet.
