Indigenous Skills and Employment Training (ISET) Program

The ISET program is designed to support Indigenous students who are taking diploma or certificate programs of up to 2 years in length, as well as the final year of a 3 or 4 year bachelor’s program. The ISET program is open to Non-Status Indians, Eastern Métis (not Métis Nation members), and Southern Inuit who are pursuing skills training. The Congress of Aboriginal Peoples skills training program focuses on Indigenous individuals who are trying to enter the labour market and cannot access funding from any other source or Indigenous organization.
