Dr. Brent Bradford receives PHE Canada Lifetime Achievement Award

Concordia University of Edmonton proudly congratulates Dr. Brent Bradford, Professor in the Faculty of Education and Co-Chair of CUE’s Interdisciplinary Research Cluster on Wellness, on being named the recipient of Physical and Health Education Canada’s (PHE Canada) 2024–2025 Lifetime Achievement Award.

This prestigious national honour — one of the highest bestowed by PHE Canada — recognizes Dr. Bradford’s over 20 years of extraordinary commitment, passion, and leadership in advancing quality physical and health education and promoting healthy school practices across Canada. 

Beyond the classroom, Dr. Bradford has contributed extensively through his work with national and provincial organizations, including PHE Canada, Ever Active Schools, UNICEF Canada, and the ATA Health and Physical Education Council.
