International Women’s Day Celebration #Balanceforbetter

The Centre for Innovation and Applied Research (CIAR) and the Faculty of Management invite you to celebrate International Women’s Day (8th March 2019) with us. Be a part of the #Balanceforbetter campaign!
Two events will be hosted through the week of 4 March 2019 – 8 March 2019

Lunch and Learn: “Are you ready entrepreneurship?”
We will kick off the celebration on 4th March at noon with an interactive session on “Are you ready entrepreneurship?” by Kiran Sagoo, Financing Specialist, Alberta Women Entrepreneurs (AWE). She will talk about challenges associated with starting and creating your own business and how it can be a life-changing experience. In this introductory workshop, you will be provided with information to help you decide when and if owning a business is right for you.

2. Panel discussion: #Balanceforbetter
Join us on 8th March 2019 when we recognize women entrepreneurs, listen to their journeys of success, hard work and leadership and how they #Balanaceforbetter. VIP reception to follow!
