About the conference
Organized by (ISC)² Alberta Chapter, this year’s BSides will focus on securing our environments in the face of challenges related to global events such as the COVID-19 pandemic. This year our world has been thrown into chaos as we grapple with an infectious virus that has affected the very way in which we live, work, and socialize. Cybercrime has been steadily rising and the number of incidents and breaches reported in 2020 seems to have greatly increased.
How does this affect information security? Does this change the way we perform our jobs as professionals? What does the future of the industry look like as a result? Let’s have a discussion, this year’s BSides will try to answer these questions as we hear from a great lineup of local security professionals.
