Concordia’s Faculty of Arts and the Department of Social Sciences are honored to welcome our first Assistant Professor of Indigenous Studies, Dr. Paulina Johnson. Dr. Johnson earned her PhD in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Western Ontario. She has extensive research and community experience in Maskwacîs and across Treaty Six territory. In addition to teaching our existing first-year Indigenous Studies course, Dr. Johnson is already hard at work designing several new courses that will eventually be included in a degree program for Indigenous Studies. Her colleagues in Social Sciences look forward to some great collaborative and interdisciplinary work with her.
