Faculty of Arts Welcomes Dr. Mai Hussein!

We are very happy to welcome the newest full-time member of Concordia’s French program, Assistant Professor Dr. Mai Hussein. Dr. Hussein earned her PhD from the Modern Languages and Cultural Studies Department at the University of Alberta. In addition to her skills as a professor of both French and Arabic, she also brings valuable prior experience as the Head of the French Translation Department in Alexandria, Egypt. Concordia has been very fortunate to have Dr. Hussein as a sessional instructor of French since 2014; the Faculty of Arts and the Department of Literature and Language look forward to having Dr. Hussein as a full-time colleague.
