Soul Connections: The Pulse of Affliction and Healing – Bella Voce Concert

For their annual spring concert, Bella Voce will be presenting pieces that soothe and restore. This year’s guests will also present a work along those lines, a poet’s writing process. Through A Beautiful Deception, her collection of poems based on health and the works of Chopin, Debussy and the Schumanns, Melissa Lacroix will invite us into her thoughts and her verses, with the help of her muses, Mireille Rijavec, mezzo-soprano, and Dessislava Gavrailova, piano.

Bella Voce is composed of women from the Concordia Concert Choir and Community Chorus, as well as members of the wider Concordia community. Bella Voce is conducted by Dr. Joy Berg.

The concert will take place at Concordia Seminary Chapel (73 Street south of 112 Avenue). Tickets are $15 for Adults and $12 for Students and Seniors, and are available at Tix on the Square, Concordia Student Accounts, or at the door. Special Family Admission: $40 (available at the door only).
