Concordia’s choral ensembles—the Concert Choir, the Community Chorus, and Bella Voce Women’s Choir—join the Concordia Symphony Orchestra and conductor David Hoyt to present Mozart’s final masterpiece, the sublime Requiem in D minor.
The weight of the funeral mass is balanced with a majestic Gloria by contemporary American composer Mark Hayes. The program is rounded out with the energy of Spanish dance in Capriccio Espagnol by Rimsky Korsakov.
Tickets are $20 for adults, $17 for seniors, students, and children plus applicable service charges and available from the Winspear Box Office (780.428.1414) or Concordia’s Student Accounts Office. For more information, contact 780.479.9304.
