CUE welcomes GALD in the fall

The CCS (Centre for Chinese Studies) at CUE hosted a presentation and campus tour for 40 Chinese educators from GALD (Global Academic Leadership Development, U of A ) group on Friday, October 20. This group of Chinese educators comes from 40 Chinese post-secondary institutions. Their portfolios include Faculty Deans, Research Administration, Student Services, HR and President’s Office, as well as Strategic Planning Departments. The potential opportunities for collaboration through the CCS were discussed. Interested areas include Chinese primary teacher professional development, library resources and summer programs. VP International and Research Dr. Manfred Zeuch and Director of CUE library Mr. Dan Mirau brought greetings to the delegation.
