Following the Government of Alberta’s announcement on September 15, 2021 regarding public health restrictions, CUE is implementing a mandatory vaccination policy for individuals attending campus, effective immediately.

Individuals (including students, faculty, academic colleagues, staff, contractors, volunteers, and visitors) may not attend campus unless they have provided proof that they are fully or partially vaccinated against COVID-19.

For staff, academic colleagues, and faculty, your vaccination verification will be verified via ID card swipe at different entry points on campus. For those who need an ID card, please email Human Resources at hr@concordia.ab.ca to arrange for one to be printed and picked up during office hours. The Human Resources office hours for the week of September 27 – October 1, 2021 are as follows:

Monday, September 27: 8:30 am – 4:30 pm

Tuesday, September 28: 8:30 am – 4:30 pm

Wednesday, September 29: 8:30 am – 4:30 pm

Thursday, September 30: Campus closed for National Day for Truth and Reconciliation; please do not come to campus this day. The Human Resources office will be closed.

Friday, October 1: 8:30 am -2:30 pm

The Human Resources office is located in Guild Hall, room G207.

It is recommended to have your proof of vaccination (either digital or paper copy) readily available should your ID card swipe be unsuccessful, even if you have received the vaccine verification email.

Students needing to pick up their ID card should contact the Registrar’s office.
