CUE “ERASMUS PLUS” RESEARCH COOPERATION WITH PARTNER IN SPAIN

Dr. Brent Bradford (Faculty of Education) and Dr. Saioa Urrutia-Gutierrez (University of the Basque Country, Spain) have continued their research collaboration stemming from Dr. Bradford’s recent trip to Spain as the recipient of a prestigious Erasmus+ Programme Award. This award was only conferred upon four faculty members from Canadian universities by the University of the Basque Country. Dr. Bradford is currently extending his research on the 'Symbolism of Teacher Clothing in Physical Education’, moving it towards an international scale, while Dr. Urrutia-Gutierrez’s research on ‘perceived motor competence among children and youth' will be conducted in Canada in collaboration with Dr. Bradford. Dr. Bradford's research collaboration with Dr. Urrutia-Gutierrez adds to the growing list of international research being conducted at Concordia University of Edmonton.
