CTE – VPAcademic: Student-Centered Teaching Panels

Posted on: Jan 16, 2023

Please save the dates for our CTE Winter Student-Centered Teaching Panels!

The CTE and the VP Academic office are proud to share the news that we will be presenting two panels offered by CUE faculty and sessionals that will highlight the authentic, relevant and meaningful student-centered teaching across our campus.

Concordia University of Edmonton (CUE) is known for its focus on student-centered teaching. The Centre for Teaching Excellence (CTE) would like to highlight and amplify some of the active learning happening across our campus every day.

Dr. Conrad van Dyk’s CUE active learning lesson on “Binary Oppositions” gives us an idea about what our panelists may talk about.

Instructors from across campus will be sharing their stories that highlight active learning, student engagement, and student success. Everyone (instructors, staff and students) is encouraged to come, learn, and take away a teaching strategy to consider in their teaching context.

There will be two panels:

Wednesday, February 8, 2023    3:30- 4:30 pm MT  HA207

Thursday, February 9, 2023        3:30- 4:30 pm MT HA015
