Following the tragic events at the Centre Culturel Islamique de Québec in Quebec City yesterday, Concordia University of Edmonton again affirms its commitment to inclusion and diversity. We join with communities and institutions in Edmonton and across Canada in condemning this violent and cowardly act. Muslim students, indeed all students, are welcome and valued here.

A candlelight vigil will be held at the Alberta Legislature building at 6:30pm today.
