Concordia School of Music – Northern Nativity

A Northern Nativity

Monday, December 16, 2013 – 7:30 p.m. at the Bethel Lutheran Church

Concordia’s School of Music presents a collective concert: Northern Nativity that will feature the Bella Voce Women’s Choir, Concordia Community Chorus, and Jubiloso! Bells of Concordia. This concert includes singing and ringing of traditional and modern pieces and throughout the concert, ensembles will invite audience members to sing along.

This showcase includes the world premieres of two new pieces: Jupiter: O God Beyond All Praising – arranged by Betty Radford – and A Voice in the Night by Darryl Dewalt and Richard Reimer. 

The concert will also exhibit paintings and narrative from a children’s book by Canadian painter William Kurelek, who visions the Nativity in various places around Canada.

Tickets are $15 for Adults and $12 for Students and Seniors and are available at Tix on the Square (tixonthesquare.ca or 780.420.1757), Concordia Student Accounts or at the door. Special Family Admission: $40 (available at the door only).
