Choral Concerts Conclude Concordia’s Community Season

Two of Concordia’s choral ensembles conclude their season this weekend with special concerts. Complimentary ticket available for Concordia students, faculty and staff from Jennifer in A306.

The women of Bella Voce Concordia (dir. Jolaine Kerley) present a relaxed yet elegant evening of musical and edible treats in their fourth annual dessert concert, Water and Light, a journey of love and light in both the human and spiritual dimensions. Choral repertoire is complemented by individual and small-group talent, a convivial ambiance, and an array of homemade sweets. Friday, April 26, 7 pm in Tegler. Tickets for the public $20/$15 from the Bookstore or at the door. Family admission $40 at the door only.

The new life that abounds in spring, awakening out of the frozen winter, testifies to a gracious and bountiful Creator! The Concordia Community Chorus and The King’s Community Chorus (dir. Evelyn Grieger) join forces for the first time in Sacred Earth, to sing repertoire drawn from familiar sacred hymns and newly composed pieces depicting God’s glorious creation. Sunday, April 28, 3 pm at First Baptist Church (10031-109 Street, Edmonton). Tickets for the public $20/$15 from the Bookstore or at the door. Family admission $40 at the door only.
