Thunder Men’s Volleyball Drop Two to 1st Place Kings
Posted on: Nov 16, 2015The Thunder Men's Volleyball team fought hard for two sets Friday night after struggling in the first set at King's University. Both Middles – Adam Baker and Hunter Scott – played excellent Friday night, shutting down the King's Middles for most of the match as well as scoring when the team needed them to. "As a team, we just didn't produce offense efficiently enough to win the match," said new Head Coach Luc Jacobson. Saturday was a bit of a different story as the guys struggled to get anything going. "Although we weren't dominated by the talented King's team, our guys just had an off night, overall." Connor Reeves played an excellent offensive match on Saturday night and was the 'go-to' attacker all night. "Although two straight set losses is not the result we were looking for, there was progress made. Overall we have lots of work to do but the guys have shown a willingness to work and improve and we look forward to showing that in Grand Prairie this coming weekend."
