Thunder Women’s Soccer Get Back in the Medal Hunt

After a tough opening day on Wednesday, the Concordia Thunder Women's Soccer team put themselves back on the map with a win on Day 2. Yesterday (November 11th), the Thunder were handed a thumping when the PACWEST'S Douglas College Royals bested our squad by a 6-Nil margin. However, Thunder bounced back this morning when they took on the Mystics from Atlantic Canada's Mount Saint Vincent University. After going down 2-Nil early, Concordia came 'Thundering' back with 3 unanswered goals. The win puts the Thunder into the Bronze Medal semi-final match which will go tomorrow at 2:30 PM ET against either the Indiennes d'Ahuntsic or the Élans de Garneau. GO THUNDER!
