A Christmas Mosaic: Community Chorus and Bella Voce Concert
Seasonal music from a variety of composers, eras, and nationalities will shape this concert into a Christmas Mosaic depicting Christ’s story through the expectation, realization, and wonder of his birth. Featured in the concert are pieces by well-known composers such as Mendelssohn, Schein, Fauré, Saint-Saens, as well as new arrangements by Peter Bloesch and Kyle Johnson. Canadian composers Larry Nickel, Gordon Hafso, and Eleanor Daley will also figure prominently this afternoon. As well, the concert will include the traditional carol sing-along with the audience. Tickets are $15 for Adults and $12 for Students and Seniors, and are available at Tix on the Square (tixonthesquare.ca or 780.420.1757), Concordia Student Accounts, or at the door.
