On Saturday, September 27 at Homecoming we’ll be unveiling the contents of a century-old time capsule. We’ll also be re-filling a new time capsule for another hundred years and we want the CUE community to tell us what should go into it!
We’re looking for artifacts and a brief description of how it tells your CUE story. An item that signifies your time here and that a person a century from now should know about.
Because space is limited in the time capsule, and the items will be sealed into the cornerstone of Schwermann Hall, there are a few criteria that must be met in order to fit.
Please read the following submission criteria carefully to ensure your submission can be considered for the time capsule:
- Maximum height, length and width of 4″H x 4″L x 4″W
- Physical items are preferred, but artworks, documents, photos etc are also being accepted
- No chemicals, flammable materials or batteries. (Battery operated items with the battery removed are fine.)
- Submissions must follow CUEs code of conduct
Have an idea that won’t fit? Share it anyway! They can still be submitted to CUE’s or other community archives.
