Canada Post Potential Disruption Student and Supplier Information, May 23, 2025

Canada Post announced that operations will be disrupted in the event of a national strike, causing delays.

Concordia University of Edmonton (CUE) uses mail to formally communicate with current and prospective students, applicants, and service providers.

Service disruptions would impact students sending or receiving documents through the mail.

The deadline for final documents for international undergraduate applicants with international documents for Fall 2025 is August 1, 2025. The Office of Admissions is taking into account the impact of service disruptions on the receipt of late documents. If students have questions, they should contact their Admissions Advisor.
International applicants applying to future terms should consider alternative delivery options during a Canada Post strike and review the document deadlines.

CUE is taking proactive steps to mitigate the impact of a potential strike on our community.

Unofficial transcripts can be requested through Online Services for Students and can be emailed directly to the student’s CUE email address.
Students who require official transcripts to be mailed to a third party should contact the Office of the Registrar at registrar@concordia.ab.ca for further assistance.
For all May 31, 2025 graduates, graduation packages will be available to pick up from the Office of the Registrar (HA 120) as of June 2, 2025. They will remain available for pick up until all service disruptions have been resolved. Students are encouraged to contact registrar@concordia.ab.ca to make alternative arrangements should they be unavailable to retrieve their graduation package in person.
