Dr. Robert (Bob) Murray Joins Concordia University of Edmonton (CUE) as Interim Vice-President, Planning and University Relations

The Office of the President is excited to announce that, effective June 1, 2024, Dr. Robert (Bob) Murray will be joining CUE as our Interim Vice-President, Planning and University Relations.

Dr. Murray comes to CUE from his role as Managing Director of Dentons Canada LLP and senior advisor in Dentons’ Government Affairs and Public Policy group.

Dr. Murray holds a PhD in Political Science from the University of Alberta and has an impressive  background in public policy and political science. He has worked with many public and private organizations, leveraging his unparalleled ability to analyze complex situations and formulate effective strategies for long-term success. He has held executive-level positions in the post-secondary, professional and business advisory services, economic development, think-tank, and education sectors, and has been involved in policy issues at the local, regional, national and international levels.
