The Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) Student Research Awards are intended to stimulate interest in research in the natural sciences and engineering and to encourage students to undertake graduate studies and pursue a research career in these fields.  Concordia faculty interested in supervising a USRA student are reminded that the deadline for submitting applications the 2020-2021 competition is April 1^st.  For more information, you can contact the Financial Aid and Awards Office or consult NSERC’s Program Guide for Students and Fellows and the Frequently Asked Questions for Applicants and Proposed Research Supervisors.
