Today: Official Launch of CCBC Brazil Hub at CUE

It is with great pleasure that we, Concordia University of Edmonton (CUE), along with the Chamber of Commerce Brazil Canada (CCBC) announce that CUE has been selected by CCBC to host the Brazil HUB in Western Canada, a joint initiative to build and enhance and strengthen the economic exchange between the two regions.
With the Eastern Brazil Hub being in Montreal, CUE will anchor the Western Brazil Hub in Canada. Housed in the CUE Innovation Hub (CIH), located in the Allan Wachowich Centre, the Brazil Hub will support Brazilian companies to explore the Canadian market and seek partnerships with the government and industry with the aim of establishing their business operations in Alberta. The hub will also focus on creating work-integrated learning opportunities for CUE students and collaborative applied research opportunities for CUE faculty. It is a new phase of visibility nationally and internationally.
This exciting development will raise awareness and attention to CUE, the City of Edmonton and the region. We are looking forward to announcing the news today, December 9th at 1 pm MT. We are hoping that you can join us on campus for this exciting event, great speakers, including the Consul General of Brazil in Canada, Renato Mosca de Souza, as well as a networking opportunity with some of the leaders in post secondary, business and government communities.
