Thunder Women’s Volleyball Lose Two to the King’s Eagles

The Thunder Women's Volleyball team went down in straight sets both nights over the weekend against the King's University Eagles. Scores on Friday were 25-15, 25-20 and 25-16. Shandelle Meyer was the Player of the Game for the Thunder. On Saturday, the team lost 25-18, 25-14 and 25-20. Tierra Pitt was the Player of the Game for the Thunder.
Coach Turner's comments from the weekend: "We went up against the 6th ranked team in Canada and they showed why they deserve that ranking. We will come back on Monday and continue to improve."
The Thunder will be taking to the road this coming week as they head up to Grande Prairie for a pair of games against the Wolves.
