The Office of Research Services, on behalf of CUE Institute for Christian Studies and Society, Concordia Arts Society, and the Indigenous Knowledge Research Centre, invites you to attend the presentation “Cree Philosophy, Spirituality and Identity” by Elder Jerry Saddleback from the Samson Cree Nation.
Date: Tuesday, November 19th
Time: 11:00 am – noon, followed by soup and bannock.
Location: Indigenous Knowledge Research Centre – AW 124 (Allan Wachowich Centre, CUE)
Elder Saddleback will be sharing from his years of learning under many Elders to help us understand the complex issues of Cree identity, belief system and worldview. Elder Saddleback currently serves as the Dean of Cultural Programmes and the Elder-in-Residence for Maskwacîs Cultural College.
