The Fine Arts Department and the Office of Research and Innovation at CUE are pleased to invite you to take part in a two-day event on Immersive Technologies in Fine Arts on the weekend on November 25 and 26. The workshops will take place in the main campus Auditorium from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Saturday, November 25 ┃ 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. ┃Presented by Boca del Lupo 360
Saturday’s workshop will be presented by Vancouver-based theatre company Boca del Lupo. The team will explore the potential applications of live recording of music and drama performances with 360 cameras for expanded audience reach, virtual collaborations, promotion and audience engagement in the field.
Sunday, November 26 ┃ 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. ┃ Presented by KVOR
Sunday’s workshop entitled Artistry Unleashed: A Dive into Virtual Reality for Fine Arts Visualization will be presented by KVOR, an Edmonton company specialized in augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR). The KVOR team will introduce based concepts and tools used in immersive technologies and untap a myriad of possibilities for development and use of new technologies in the world of the Fine Arts. The future is here!
