L-Pass

Current CUE students, faculty, and staff can access Edmonton Public Library (EPL) services and resources when they register for a free L-Pass.

Please note: You must have a 10-digit Canadian phone number on file to register for an L-Pass. If you encounter any difficulties with your registration, email library@concordia.ab.ca.

L-Pass Registration

  • Log in to Online Services.
  • Select Resources (faculty and staff should select Department Resources).
  • Click L-Pass EPL Service.
  • Check your information and click I Agree.
    • If you do not have a phone number or address on file, you will be prompted to add that information.
  • Check your information on the EPL website and make any necessary changes.
  • Create a password for your account and click Submit.
  • You will receive confirmation of your library card number (you will also receive an email).

NOTE: Your L-Pass is a digital card only and it is not connected to your CUE ID card.
To check out physical materials at any EPL location, you must use your L-Pass digital EPL card, which can be accessed through the official EPL app.
