If you would like to browse the collection in person, please contact the School of Music Events and Services Coordinator in Alumni Hall 306 to sign out a key. Individuals can sign out a key for up to two hours, and are responsible for returning all materials and replacement costs (if items are not returned).

All borrowers including Faculty must pay the processing fee, over and above the rental fee. This fee needs to be paid up front before the release of any library material.

1. Fees

A processing fee of $10 (+ GST) is charged per order.  This fee is designed to offset the cost of maintaining the library. Rental fees:

Folio Scores: $10 per title (+GST)
Larger Scores: $20 per title (+GST)

 2. Pick-up

Borrowers may pick up scores at Concordia or have scores mailed at their expense.  Postage charges will be added to the loan fees.

 3. Loan Period

The standard loan period is four months.  An extension of two months may be requested.  If the material has not been returned after two months and an extension has not been requested, you will be sent a reminder and charged a $25 late fee.  After three months, you will be charged the replacement value of the scores. If you do return the material, the charge of the replacement value will be waived, but you must still pay the $25 late fee.

 4. Loan Amount

Any one patron can borrow a maximum of ten titles at any one time.

 5. Music Condition

Music is expected to be returned in the condition is which it was loaned and in numbered order.  Music that is badly damaged (including excessive pencil markings or any marking in pen, three-hole punching, or significant rips or tears) or missing music will be charged at the replacement rate as charged by the distributor.
